Studio Still Life

Blog, Paintings for Sale

I’ve been busy recently with my ‘other’ (paid) work at The Pound arts centre in Corsham; A new job with new responsibilities and a different focus to what I’ve been used to. I’m setting that up as an excuse for the lack of painting that I’ve – not – been doing. Anyway, excuses aside, I’ve painted today and it feels calming and comforting.

I arrived at the studio to find a bunch of homegrown cut flowers in a vase on the side in the kitchen. What excuse was there left? None.

I am a Wiltshire-based landscape artist, working outdoors, come rain or shine. I recently left full time work in order to pursue my life-long ambition of being an artist.
