New, multi-layered painting on paper based on my walks around Roundway Hill near Devizes, Wiltshire.

My process includes: painting a ‘base’ or ‘hidden’ landscape, covering with gesso, scratching and sanding back the gesso, layering melted wax, re-painting, peeling away wax and over-drawing.
