When people say that winter strips all the colour out of the landscape I have to disagree. Ok, yes, when it’s grey and dull everything goes flat. But, once that sun is out, there are so many incredible colours everywhere!

Willows in the winter sun. Two new sketches (oil on board) 28 x 35 cm. I might use these as reference for some studio work.
