Summer holidays are over and I have to admit I’m feeling a little ‘sluggish’ – creatively speaking that is. Although I hoped to have been as busy during August as I have the rest of the year, it just doesn’t seem to work out that way when you have a six-year-old.
Nevertheless, today I’ve been out on my favourite hill. Clouded in mist and early autumn colours it’s amazing how quickly the seasons shift from one to another. Now that the ‘Ancient Landscapes: New Lines’ exhibition has closed (Pound Arts, Corsham) I’m focusing on my commission pieces and open exhibition entries. I’ll also be looking for more exhibition opportunities for 2018.
Anyone in the Marlborough/ Devizes area will also be able to see some of my work in Bluestone Gallery, Swan Yard, Devizes from late September/early October.
Right Jon, get on with it.
