It’s been a busy few months, what with ‘Ancient Landscapes: New Lines’ in Corsham and the City Arts Newbury exhibitions. I’ve been doing more sketching and ‘small scale’ painting in between the shows: watching the season change and the colours darken into summer. Dare I say it, but Autumn will soon be here and I’m making the most of the rich fields of wheat and bountiful hedgerows around my studio before everything starts to go brown.
I’ve bought some handmade Khadi paper, which is rough and textured and a delight to hold. I’ve been using it with a small tin of watercolours with my trusty oil pastels, of course.
