It’s been an amazing summer. I’ve spent lots of time with my partner and our 5-year-old son out and about. A couple of weeks in Cornwall gave me a much needed grounding and some real inspiration to bring back to Wiltshire. Some of the landscapes were almost ‘other worldly’ in the sea mist.
We spent a lot of time at the local skatepark (my son is great on a board and scooter), which meant we had time to draw and paint while he was practicing his ‘one-eighties’.
The BIG news, however, is that I finally have my studio! The Sheds, is a private home and artistic enclave near to my house, and I’m renting an end-property for the foreseeable future. It’s rustic; it’s homely; and for me, it’s perfect.
Having this space means that I can focus on bringing all these landscapes and ideas into a new phase of my art work and arts practice. I plan to draw on all my recent sketches and have fun!!
